مواقع I’m a pretty excited smoothie-making bunny right now. I have tried many smoothies in my Morphy Richards Soup Maker and if you’re like me and often make a smoothie for one person, then the results are not good. Even with nuts and more solid ingredients, it struggles.

But admittedly, I go through smoothie phases and end up shelving them.

I would often take a smoothie to work when I started at my last job almost 10 years ago, and got branded a hippy(!). Now smoothies seem to have made an even bigger come back and I’m all over it again like a ‘smoothier’ that’s been hiding in the closet.

عنوان ورل المصدر I think this is a fab smoothie blender for price. I’m not surprised it’s got a rating of 5* and when I’m on my next smoothie break (or maybe not), I’ll feel I’ve definitely got my pennies worth. It may not be the fastest to some people (my fiance commented 400W was low) but I never saw this as a flaw. It does exactly what I need it to do and the rest of the money I saved can go on all the fruit I want!

And to me, this is better than reaching out for a chocolate bar, particularly when I’m at my weakest (hence the title) and I need the energy to help me continue through the day. As an extra bonus, I’ve been swotting up in Glycaemic Index Levels and have been opting for lower GI fruit to help stabilise my sugar levels to prevent snacking.

I’ve added spinach and broccoli too as I always feel low on iron around this time which works well with the vitamin C in the orange for better absorption. And the omega oils in the milled linseed (bought from Aldi) and almonds for protein. It’s a perfect all rounder for the immune system too!
