I call this smoothie sweet-enough because if you added honey or any other syrup, you would just ruin it; the orange and ripe bananas do it all for you.
I am loving how the vegan smoothies I’ve been making recently don’t taste dairy-free at all and don’t stop them being incredibly delicious all the same. This smoothie is creamy and has a slight kick to the lips from the kiwi. Note: I am no longer vegan like I was in my uni and post-grad days, but I will always appreciate my veggies and refreshing meat free dishes every now and then in case you were confused by some of the meaty recipes I tend to post.
Note I haven’t added any nuts to this as this was my pre-bedtime smoothie last night while I chilled out, flicking through the latest Tesco’s magazine, mentally eating most of their recipes, which I have to say they’ve massively improved over the years in terms of variety. However, if you want to try this for your breakfast, then why not add some almonds, walnuts or milled linseed for an extra boost of protein to start your day?
2 ripe bananas
2 easy peel oranges, peeled
1 kiwi, peeled
1.5 cups Oat Milk
2 small handfuls of rolled oats
Simply chuck everything in your blender and whiz until smooth!
And please let me know what you thought of my smoothie in the comments below – it would make my day.
