انقر للمزيد I needed a safe haven for a campsite last week for some part of relaxing and working in my camper. And I would safely say this is how I felt and found it really cosy and peaceful. I wouldn’t normally spend all day in my camper; a normal adventure would be to go for walks that last hours with our dog and picnic, then use our campervan for a place to rest our heads. However, my fiance had to work away, so we chose this spot for him to commute on secondment while I brought work from home.

You will often see him tottering around the grounds on his bike which is always useful if we needed to ask for the new barrier code and such. And another beauty I discovered immediately is that they have a burger-type van and wooden gazebo near the entrance that takes order on a Saturday and Sunday. Perfect if you really want a rest from cooking, but unfortunately this was only a week day trip for us, so missed it completely.
خيار ثنائي تاجر ماليزيا During the week, I felt like I’ve got to know the campsite quite well; it has a very relaxing nature, it’s extremely pretty as we overlooked the River Thames while boats passed by and an untouched edge with picnic benches. I’d say this is possibly one of the most scenic CCC we’ve been too. It doesn’t quite beat breathtaking views while wild camping in the Highlands, but I’m certainly not grumbling. Which brings me to the point that I’ve always felt safe at a CCC site, particularly at their main sites where it is overlooked by site managers constantly and I do feel this is the kind of service which warrants the price tag. However, we did stumble across what we thought was a pricing issue in the middle of our stay. I say middle because we originally booked for two nights, not knowing if my fiance would commute but when we thought on the Tuesday we’d best stay another two nights, these days were “variable” pricing, meaning they’d gone up in price for peak season. What stung more was that we planned on leaving a day before the Bank Holiday had even started, but hey ho, we paid up to save my fiance from a gruelling 4 hour round trip daily commute. But getting back at what the campsite has to offer, views is certainly high up there, but it is obviously well kept in terms of gardening. There are beautiful flowers dotted around in little hanging baskets and a quirky C H E R T S E Y sign out of wooden letters on the way out with garden-gnome style decorative features. So I guarantee you won’t feel miserable while you look out of your window while eating your breakfast. We had rain most of the week but it as still pleasant and plenty of trees for shelter. And what you may not realise initially is that there is private road in the middle of the campsite with a hidden cottage which sounds totally quaint and delightful.

I can speak for the ladies and tell you it is extremely spacious, bright and barely came across anyone in there. There’s five showers, sinks and a lot of vanity mirrors sectioned off and a communual one. It did surprise me to only see one soap dispenser and although generally tip top decor, I opted for the end shower to find unsightly mold, peeling paint and deep cracks which needed filling. This is my only gripe – I’m not a picky kind of person but it did stand out and may bother some people. There is also a free hair dryer, shaving sockets and coat hooks, so pretty much eveything you need. You’ll also find a laundry room (£3.50 for a wash, £1 dryer for 20 minutes), an ironing board and work top.
تحقق من عنوان ورل There are also two separate pot washing outer rooms, two chemical disposal sections, plenty of taps around the site itself, one being just yards from our camper. And what impressed me the most was the recreational room; this is the main building packed with tables, tea coffee making room which could easily be a ball room, bingo or conference room.
وسيط فوركس ecn It is worth noting that the main showers/toilets are closed between 2-4pm each day, but there are toilets next to the reception towards the entrance if needs must. I never found this a problem as like most campers, ours has a toilet so I didn’t need to leave my little spot.
نموذج خيار ثنائي We also took use of the dog walk in the morning which is positioned behind hedges of the far left of the site. It is only brief, but we did most of our walk along Dumsey Meadows and further long the Thames over the bridge when taking a left out of the site. In fact, we did this every night and would day dream about buying one of the many gorgeous homes that face the water.
موقع الكتروني The local town Chertsey is rather small, only a 15 minute walk away with a reasonably sized Sainsburys, coop, a local butchers which only sells extra lean mince meat, (I bought for my Sloppy Joes YouTube Recipe video) and it was delicious. I also used the post office and was almost tempted by the many cafes and charity shops for some vintage hunting.
The site also offers a Refreshment Burger Van/Bar on a Saturday and Sunday and Fish & Chips every Friday and Saturday night, but as we stayed mid week and left on the Thursday, we weren’t able to experience this but the option is there.
I hope you found this review useful and please let me know your thoughts if you stay there.
