موقعي As I try to embrace my early 30’s, some days I have think nostalgically to the past, thinking how easy it was to cover up under eyes with a touch of concealer with my Estee Lauder Double Wear. Now Autumn is nearing, I’m always cold, dry and greyer under the eye so thought it was best to top up my stash with some essentials.
لا إيداع مكافأة في خيار ثنائي And now I’m older and first time home owner, I cringe at what I now consider as heavy spending on Debenhams and HOF mega weeks, but at least I got free extra make up goodies on their special offers.
دعوة ثنائية الخيار آلة حاسبة I don’t actually consider myself a beauty blogger in the slightest. In fact, I’ve never admitted it but I find putting make up on as dull as cleaning. If they invented spray guns that applied your make up pristinely or a Judy Jetson type gadget so I spend time checking my emails over a coffee while I wake up, I’d be the first in line. However, I do like sharing with you any products I feel are bloody good for the price like little miracle potions in case you’re also in my boat.
مزيد من المعلومات I’ve been disheartened lately to see that as the day goes on while wearing make up, I see visible laughter lines; creases that don’t seem to be there on my bare face. Where did they come from? I started questioning whether the foundation and concealer is too thick, but after asking my local beautician mid-manicure, she suggested trying a primer. I am so glad I asked. My mother never wore make up every day either and would only make the effort when going on a night out. But when I got a job in fashion after leaving Uni, putting on make up daily had to become part of my morning routine, (it was in the manual), so I would apply on the train or at work. I would be surrounded by high end shops and concessions and dipped my toes in to premium brands and quickly found my favourites.

I see little point. And with the vast make up reviews YouTube on “drug store” make up, it’s like I’m learning all over again. I’ve since been trying to beat my Clarins, Decleor and Estee Lauder with cheaper alternatives as I get towards the end of them and found it’s truly been difficult. I’ve feel like I’ve been spoilt. Yet one brand stands out from the crowd that needs a mention in terms of performance to pennies is W7. It’s dupe city and have quite a bit from them already ordered from Amazon.
الصفحة الرئيسية I have recently found out about a local bargain make up store and their Amazon reviews have also been terrific ratings which I have to back up. This is what I bought:

After using this two days in a row, I have had comments of a fresher look. Costing around the £3-4 mark, I’ve been extremely impressed. It smoothes over my dehydration lines on my forehead making this much less visible. Although I would have liked to purchase the sold-out white, I picked the green which offers anti-redness. I can’t comment on whether it counteracts redness but now have a firm favourite as I get minimal creasing under the eyes too. I have since ordered the white on amazon so cannot wait to see if it is even better.

Costing again around the £3-4 mark, I would have liked it to be a smidgen darker but it is almost a perfect match for Revlon Colorstay which I bought to match my Estee Lauder. In fact, I think W7’s is better. It’s not as dry, easier to apply and light coverage.
فيسيت W7 Fixer
At £1.99, I wanted to try something new for the first time as I’ve always been a pressed powder girl. I don’t have oily skin so make up up generally stays, but under the eyes are a different story, so I am yet to put this through more tests. But so far, I’m undecided.

Costing a mere £1, I threw this in my basket with little thought and later discovered terrible reviews on the internet. If it’s any good, I will definitely let you know!

Not a W7 product, but when looking for tips a few months ago, someone suggested trying a serum before foundation. I was hestitant on this one as I have two other products of theirs and both have been rubbish but picked this up for £3.99 and I was shocking how amazing it was! It diffuses any fine lines on my forehead like I’m looking at myself ten years ago. Don’t get me wrong, dehydration lines have been on my forehead since my early 20’s and the only thing that worked was Decleor’s face balm (around £30-40). This is definitely worth a dabble and will be buying again or something similar.
Now just to keep hunting for the best budget concealer… any suggestions?
