The next time you run out of frylight, why not top up the empty bottle with this recipe to use up some spare oil?
I very rarely buy pure oil and when I do, it’s actually been for beauty purposes; (almond oil, extra virgin olive oil and coconut oil).
As for the ratio I use, it really is personal preference, but find that if I add no water, the spray gets stuck and if I add too much water, I get a residue in my pan. So that’s my reasoning; you might want to experiment.
And obviously it goes without saying that this is harder to work out the calories compared to a Frylight 1 calorie per spray. I’m just not going to get hung up over what could be tenths or quarters of a syn (or two).
- An equal mix of oil and water *Use distilled water if you want it to last longer
- Empty frylight bottle or a mister
