I’m Vikkie and it’ll come no surprise that I love to eat. In fact, there’s a running joke in our house that I’m always grazing because I just can’t work on an empty stomach. It’s probably the one thing that slows me down while I also renovate our house over that The Carpenter’s Daughter(!)
Anyway, so why Slimming World recipes? Well, after spending 8 years in a high energy retail job as a Fashion Branch Manager on my feet all day, I soon realised my new home office job meant having to eat less calories. No fun!
So, in December 2013, I joined Slimming World to nip my weight increase in the bud and after 6 months, I reached my target weight and learnt how to graze more wisely for life.
Then I wanted to keep the new body I had, so I started the Couch to 5k running plan (it’s amazing!), followed by an additive phase of several Jillian Michaels exercise videos. Oh, and a yoga phase, but I’m not great at keeping up routines.
But by 2015, I began creating my own soup maker recipes as I was so sick of making terrible food following the cookbook that came with.
Now I’m a full time blogger doing what I love the most: creating delicious recipes for others to follow.
