I know I posted the other day about being a guest at the BBC Good Food Summer Event, but thought it was a shame not to share with you some of the photo highlights of the day. I really enjoyed it and can’t wait to go to the Winter event too; if you also love food, then it is a must and take plenty of cash to treat yourself to some of the many treats you can buy, but most also generously offer samples.
So here they are and I am starting with a Gourmet Cheese Mill which I regret not buying at two for £20. Just pop your cheese, chocolate, nuts or biscuits which grates with a no nonsense, no sticky hands approach! I didn’t realise I wanted one properly until I grated cheese when I got back home.
If you love flowers, then this is certainly a must! There are beautiful and imaginative displays almost everywhere outside and in external buildings.
I bagged two complimentary tickets to see Carol Klein talk about her new book coming out this September on Making a Garden. I found her Grow Your Own (Veg) so inspiring, so couldn’t wait to take more ideas from her and she didn’t disappoint.
And then I headed with all my purchases, including goody bags which I have created a video on.
