Hi there. I’m back again. For those of you don’t follow my instagram, you may not have known I’ve secretly been away on my jollies. I’ve been clogging up people’s feeds with daily pictures of what I found breathtaking, delicious or amusing for the last week on our camping holiday. Evidence here. But don’t worry, there will be a separate blog post on this trip very soon and if I get my schedule right, there will be a video up this Friday on my YouTube too.
But as always, a jollies to us are pet friendly ones. Call me soppy, but I don’t like leaving my dog behind in a kennels or with relatives unless we can’t avoid it and just work around it by toddling off in our campervan, in or out of season and search around for pet friendly cafes, pubs or hotels. No wonder he never appreciates time alone when I briefly nip out to the shops.
And what is more, I always tend to come back recharged with a clearer mindset focusing on new ideas as I did creating a 7 Day Soup Challenge last year. But this holiday I was like a dog with a bone over the prospect of a new blog called, A Pet Recommends. It’s now our new spot for sharing our pet friendly experiences from places we visit, (a post on visiting Hadrian’s Wall visitor centre will be coming up), share our views on products we try and everything in between.
Yes, it would be absolutely awesome if you could come along and support us by subscribing to my new sister-blog and all the social links below. The main reason I’ve thought about having a similar website for so long is that sometimes it can be a struggle to find pet friendly places in a new environment. Quite often we’ve found the most affluent seaside resort has been pet friendly as opposed to ones that aren’t and I feel I can contribute (I just wish I’d thought of this sooner!) It’s also rather interesting that the dog content on both my YouTube channels tends to be most popular in such a short space of time, so it made sense them all in a place of its own and create a separate pet community that has a room to grow. After all, we like to share our experiences to help others sought the wheat from the chaff and a foodie place isn’t always the right place for that, unless I’m baking a doggy birthday cake.
Yet when it comes to my blog right here, I don’t intend to spread myself thin, oh no; things will be business as usual so to speak. I know I have a lot on my plate (excuse the pun) while I blog about my meals while writing a separate e-book for soup maker recipes, but I will do this!

So hopefully I will see you again soon with a healthy recipe blog post this week!
