Firstly, I’m so sorry if I confused everyone by putting up my weekly video up a day early. The reason for this was to give everyone more time if you’re looking for Valentine’s Day ideas (or make some), particularly if you’re lucky to have weekends off with a 9-5’er; I used to envy them when I worked in a clothes shop.
Each week there’s always video ideas floating around my head and what be blog posts only; I’ll give you a tip: more things come to those who read. And this week’s video just fell naturally in to place when I had the chance of reviewing a Valentine’s Day Hotel Chocolat box of chocolates, but wait, there’s more; I was then blessed enough with the chance to #CastASpell on a Stephanie Connolly, a fellow Slimming World vlogger (watch the video to find out what I mean) and spread the chocolatey love-spirit and make someone’s day. I’d mentioned before, it was completely anonymous and then a couple of days ago, I found I’d been tagged in Stephanie’s video which you can see in the middle of mine here. I’m not going to lie, I didn’t have dry eyes when I watched it; it was so great to see a smile on her face after what she’s been through over the last months.
So, to talk about what I’d received for my early Valentine’s presents; my fiance got me a quirky purple ‘I Put Yorkshire on the Map’ t-shirt. I am really loving funny Yorkshire sayings at the minute which has probably something to do with living in Warwickshire with only my fiance helping me stick to me’ roots. Well, it’s right, int’it? (my Mum’s saying that always makes me laugh. I also got a a more figure hugging pink Yorkshire Born n’ Bred tee; possibly only a house top until I brave the outdoors with my bold statement! It all matches my favourite mug that I opened on Christmas Day: I’m a Mug from Yorkshire. When it’s cuppa time while I work from home, I been proactively ditching the Denby; that’s how much I love it. A good cup of tea that makes me laugh. I couldn’t ask for anything else.
And because I can’t give the chocolates I received to everyone, I have put together a three quick last minute gift ideas which you’ll have to wait ’til the end to check them out.
