As with all new friendships, it takes time to understand and adapt to each other’s little quirks. And one good friend of mine each morning is a travel flask full of coffee that my fiance and I wake up to. We drink it in our near by park while our Collie, Hans has a good run around which is all done and dusted within the first hour of waking up.
And flasks aren’t just about our morning walk, either. We’ll take them away in our campervan, to work or even if we’re heading for a cheeky McDonald’s breakfast and latté.
So maybe you can imagine we’ve been through quite a few over the years which have either been lost, broken but never forgotten and last month, it was time for some new ones. This is where Interflask* comes in.
I love this design for many reasons. It’s slim enough to fit in both our Mini and narrower campervan’s cup holder, so no more rolling on our car’s floors.
It’s a real no-gimmick handy travel size flask that keeps my drink hot for up to 6 hours (perfect for a slow drinker like me who is used to cold coffee). And with the push of a button, the top opens up and I can drink it straight away. In fact, do many of us even use the ol’ screw cap anymore?
I know I’m also good at dropping my flasks and have already had one incident this week which escaped dint free, so it truly travels well and is perfectly robust for my needs. It also has a useful lock feature to prevent leakage if I chuck it in my handbag in a hurry.
Then at the end of the day, cleaning is nice and simple with soapy water as there’s no awkward nooks and crannies that get a nasty build up of old coffee.
In fact, we were so impressed overall that we bought one off Amazon for my Dad’s birthday last week which he seemed very pleased with (phew, because he’s so hard to buy for!)
So I’m sure you’ll be seeing more of these little fellows in my future videos.
