I hope you all have a great day tomorrow with your close friends and family, whatever holiday you celebrate. And before you’re bombarded with more leftovers than you can shake a stick at, I’ve scoured through my blog for 5 top recipes to help you munch through it.
I personally didn’t realise until recently, how much meat was actually on a big turkey. In fact, I’ve still got cooked leftovers in my freezer! But a cook in a cafe told me not long ago that if you leave the leftover meat un-sliced in the fridge, it’ll last up to 5 days. If you cut it all up and then leave it in the fridge, it’ll only last up to 3 days. That’s just a thought for you anyway. But if you’re not sure you’re going to eat it all, then maybe think about portioning it off in to food bags and pop them in the freezer.
So here’s today’s 5 offerings that will hopefully help you get prepared and of course, any of your own leftover tips and recipes are very welcome in the comments below. After all, it is the season for caring and sharing.
