Wow, I am loving making new smoothies lately in my £6 basic Tesco blender! It does the job and I get to spend my hard earned cash on the fruit I blend instead. Deep down I wanted a nutribullet but if you’ve seen my YouTube vids, I am living in a project house where everything needs renovating, so a n’bullet was out of the question. I don’t make smoothies every day though, just every few days, hence the need to use up very ripe bananas, but I think this when it’s reached its peak!
If you love super sweet smoothies, then this is the one for you and if not, just use half the amount of agave as me.
Banoffee & Cinnamon Smoothie Milkshake
- 3 dates stoned and chopped
- 3 bananas
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1.5 cups milk
- 1 tbsp agave syrup (halve if you don’t want it super sweet)
- Simply throw everything in to your blender & serve in two glasses.
This was another pre-bedtime one last night too after a long and busy day in my office (and bragging about my beauty on instagram), but the sweetness didn’t prevent me from falling asleep in case you were wondering!
You will need:
3 dates, stoned and chopped
1 tsp cinnamon
1.5 cups the milk of your choice (or plant based)
1 tbsp agave (half if you don’t want it super sweet
Simply throw everything in to your blender & serve in two glasses.
