Slimming World Low Syn Chicken & Chorizo Gnocchi

A delicious and super easy Slimming World 2.5 syn each chicken and chorizo gnocchi.

  • Frylight
  • 4 chicken breasts skinned & left whole
  • 400 g gnocchi *8 syns in total
  • 2 tins chopped tomatoes
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 red pepper deseeded & diced
  • 2 onions peeled & diced
  • 20 g chorizo diced *2 syns
  • 1/2 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • 1/2 tbsp marjoram
  • 50 g quark or natural yogurt
  • Seasoning
  • 80 g lower fat cheese *20g per person which is half of each person's Hea;thy Extra A


  • Preheat your oven on 190 degrees and spray a large roasting dish with frylight.
  • Transfer the chicken to one tray and spray with frylight, seasoning and cover with tin foil.
  • Then place everything else except the quark and cheese in another dish and cover with tin foil.
  • Place both trays in the middle of the oven at the same time for 40 minutes.
  • Now remove the chicken and set aside.
  • Then remove the tin foil from the tomato dish and stir in the gnocchi dumplings.
  • Return the gnocchi dish to the oven without the foil for a further 40 minutes and finally stir in the quark.
  • Serve in to bowls, sprinkle each one with the grated fat cheese and if you wish, a drizzle of balsamic vinegarette.
