There’s no surprise I love to eat. In fact, my fiance says I’m always pecking. (“Peck! Peck! Peck!”) And after spending 8 years in a high energy retail job as a Fashion Branch Manager, I soon realised that my new home office job meant eating less calories than I was used to.
Then in December 2013, I later joined Slimming World to nip my weight increase in the bud and after 6 months, I reached my target weight and had learnt how to graze more wisely.
Once I’d shifted one and a half stone, I became a runner, a Couch to 5k graduate, a 30 Day Shredder and a new yoga lover.
But to stay motivated, in 2015 I started sharing my recipes on my YouTube channel and also my blog for anyone else like me followed recipes from their phone or tablet in the kitchen. Since then, I’ve been creating new and different recipes each week.
All recipes I share are usually low in fat and sugar, unless it’s for a special occasion (or a Dog Birthday Cake) and are usually very easy to make. I always think of the reader in mind and try to use every day accessible ingredients so nothing should be too far away or effort. If you’re new here, then I highly recommend starting with my easy Slow Cooker or Soup Recipes which I turn to most when I’ve got a lot on my plate.
