Not only is this dirty fries recipe quicker to cook in 25 minutes, but they can be healthy, too! You'll find loaded fries are a perfect weekend treat for a feast or supper, topped with cheese, ham, and onions.
First, preheat your oven at 240 degrees (gas mark 9) and line a large baking tray with your silicone mat. Note, the mat prevents any chips sticking whatsoever and there's no need to turn them.
Once you've chipped your potatoes, place in a colander and rinse uner a cold tap and shake any excess moisture away.
Transfer into a microwaveable bowl and microwave for 5 minutes.
Place the chips in a tupperware container along with the oil and seasoning, firmly attach the lid and shake until everything is coated and roughed up a little. Note: if you don't have one, you could do this is a sturdy food bag.
Spread your chips on your baking tray and bake in the oven for 15 minutes. If you prefer even crispier, bake for a further 5 minutes.
Transfer to a baking dish and sprinkle on your cheese, broken ham, mayonnaise, spring onions and a final sprinkle of smoked paprika and bake in the oven for 5 minutes and serve!
