This seriously rich chocolate fridge cake is so easy and delicious and perfect for using leftover dried nuts, seeds, biscuits and liqueur in the cupboard.
First place a glass bowl on top of a pan of simmering water, making sure the glass doesn't touch the water.
Melt and stir the chocolate, butter, alcohol and syrup until combined.
Then add all of the dry ingredients and stir until everything is coated.
Now line a 20cm square baking dish or similar with baking paper and transfer and press the mixture down.
Smooth over with the back of a spoon or spatula then sprinkle with the almonds you held back, cover with tin foil and set in the fridge for 6hours or overnight.
