This easy London Broil slow cooker recipe creates tender slices of roast beef, cooked in its own delicious gravy marinade. It's ideal to create a marinated steak slices for a London broil sandwich or tasty beef stew chunks.
Add butter to a large nonstick skillet.Then sear all sides of the chuck roast over medium-high heat while the strings are left on - this should take about 1-2 minutes.
Transfer the steak to the slow cooker.Now add the remaining ingredients.
Place the lid on top and choose one of the following cooking times until the beef is tender:High temp: 4-5 hours or Low temperature: 7-8 hours
Remove the London Broil beef from the crock pot, then slice it into thin strips on a cutting board.Now put back in the marinade and serve.

If you want to retain as much juice in your slow cooker pot roast, then you can line your lid with aluminum foil
After searing, you can deglaze the pan with the stock to catch all of the browned bits for extra flavour before pouring in the slow cooker
