An incredibly delicious and healthy sag aloo soup maker recipe, inspired by Lorraine Pascale. It's low fat, making it perfect for an unofficial Slimming World plan.

Today's soup recipe is inspired by my recent visit to the BBC Good Food Show where one may say I stalked Lorraine Pascale all morning and watched her Soothing Sag Aloo Soup demonstration from her latest cookbook, Eating Well Made Easy.
(Apparently, she was inspired by Pret a Manger). And what I didn't realise, until that show, was that turmeric is an anti-inflammatory and she eats it almost every day in some form.
There, I hope you learned something new too. I had already made and loved her super immune boosting soup, so how could I not give this a go?
The ingredients are pretty much store cupboard essentials too and it's extremely easy and now, I am presenting to you a almost fat free soup maker friendly version.
*Side Note: I have made a few adjustments to suit what I had in, so you will need to check the book for her exact ingredients and cannot find them online anywhere to share.
So I may have gobbled it all up on my own in one day, it was that lovely and filling, but when something is pure health, I don't think about portion sizes and just eat until I'm full.
And if you want to check more Soup Maker-friendly recipes, I have so many on here that to search through and so much more to come each week. All the more reason to pop your email in the box on the right and sign up for a subscription 😉
