Easy Tahini maple dressing recipe that's vegan and made in 1 minute with store cupboard ingredients. It's also creamy, sweet, savory AND DELICIOUS!

Since quitting a low-fat diet life in favour of low carb keto recipes, I've have been really enjoying salads more than ever.
These healthy light lunches may sound boring, but actually, they're not. Why? Because it's all about pimping them up with easy dressing recipes that satisfy.
Oh, and good quality protein such as meat or pulses in the ways of vegan burgers as featured here. You can find out more about why I love this as part of the Fast 800 diet in my vegan mustard salad dressing here.

How to Make Maple Tahini Dressing
This tahini maple syrup dressing is so simple to make. Note, you'll find a list of ingredients in my printable maple tahini dressing recipe further down this page. But all you do is:
Measure everything out with measuring spoons into a little pot of jug. Give it a whisk with a fork until smooth, which takes seconds and drizzle over your salad.
There's no heating up to get the perfect dressing recipe here. Everything melts in the pot as is!

Alternative Ingredients for a Healthy Tahini Dressing
As my recipe stands, it's a vegan tahini dressing for one person. But, what I love and do everytime, is adjust it with various ingredients as it's so quick to make.
The other variations you can make are:
- Swap apple cider vinegar for a lemon tahini dressing with maple - or lime juice. A little acidity will give it some extra depth.
- Or swap the above for a balsamic tahini dressing is also delicious, but I find you may want to increase the salt if it's too sweet
- Also note, that a maple mustard dressing is optional. Sometimes I make it with English mustard, sometimes I don't use it at all
Alternative Maple Syrup Ingredients
- If you don't have maple syrup, then I actually mostly use Clarks Original Maple syrup blended with carob, which is 45% less sugar
- It's also great with smooth mango chutney, or try half maple, half chutney
- Agave syrup (which I haven't tried with this recipe)
- Or runny honey, but this would make it no longer a tahini vegan dressing

Can I Make This Sweet Tahini Dressing For More People?
Firstly, you'll notice this easy tahini salad dressing is for one person. And with it being so quick to make, I only make what I need, as and when.
If you're wanting to make it for 4 people, then simply increase everything by 4. However, to save time, as a rule, I'd convert 1 teaspoon to 2 tablespoon for ease.
Storing Your Maple Tahini Sauce
As mentioned, I only ever make what I need. However, due to the vinegar, salt and sugar being preservatives, I would probably store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
Although it's so delicious, I can't imagine you ever having it for that long.
What Makes This a Keto Salad Dressing?
A keto diet is about eating good fats and focusing on low carb recipes.
- The tahini sauce is pulped seeds into a paste, great for protein and healthy fat
- And the Clarks Original maple syrup blend has less sugar content than usual sugar
But overall, this small amount of sauce is minimal and helps me feel satisfied, compared to a low fat salad, say with pasta.
