I can’t believe it’s Wednesday tomorrow. For the last few weeks, I keep losing a Wednesday in my mind when someone actually corrects me telling me we’re on a Thursday. I’m putting it down to Mondays being buried in paperwork, but I’m ahead of you this week… I’m taking control, Wednesday, do you hear? I know your near!
As busy as I been with work, I have been more organised sticking to my new daily meal planner blackboard, defrosting everything the night before and not randomly creating a new recipe on a whim but I do have a recipe trio up my sleeve for this Friday’s video as I have been practicing some new lunches. However, remember I raved on about freezing strawberries and any cheap fruit I found? Well I managed to squeeze in this drink for a supper treat last night which is the ultimate example as to why this method is so magical. Think McDonald’s Strawberry Milkshake while you don’t gulp each mouthful terrorising yourself with guilt.
It’s simple in its simplest of forms and will make you friends. It’s just three ingredients and serves 2 people.
2 ripe bananas
10 frozen strawberries
250ml milk of your choice (I used 1% fat)
Blend, drink and you’ll thank me – this is a must! Omit the milk completely and you have strawberry ice cream.

- 10 strawberries frozen
- 250 ml 1% milk
- Blend everything together and serve!
