Now don't get too comfy with a recipe like this on my blog. This is strictly a one off as I made them a for lovely BBQ we went to at the weekend.
I don't usually have the time or day for baking in my lifestyle; it's expensive, creates loads of washing up and bad for the waistline, so I take solace occasional store bought treats if I need a sweet fix.
I do find baking incredibly therapeutic so I tend to leave it for a time like this to please others or for Christmas hampers. But when the time comes, I want the recipes to be special and impressive and hunt down the highest rated. No rating, no baking (usually, anyhow).
These chocolate brownies will definitely win you friends. In fact, I even shared a how to shabby chic a coffee table to serve them on! Maybe a step too far?
And when we took some to a BBQ, I made 3 batches and layered a Celebrations tub full of them which were being passed around the group and multiple hands being dipped in.
I must've picked a good one.

Although the recipe does suggest to pick the best dark chocolate you find, I just went for middle of the road Asda chocolate because my bill was racking up, but it was still intensely chocolatey in my opinion.
Let me know if you do bake them and please comment below how you got on and perhaps I will see you leading up to Christmas with a recipe as naughty as this?
