Looking for some unofficial cheap Slimming World recipes with Christmas leftovers? Well, here's a few healthy meal ideas to creatively use up spare food to cut down on waste and save money!
AD | This post includes a (closed) giveaway sponsored by Brabantia.

I absolutely hate food waste. But when it comes to whipping up a meal, there's a running joke in my house that I usually cook 20% too much. (I'd personally rather make sure no one's left hungry).
But it does come with a fair amount of leftovers and if I'm not finishing them off for my lunch the next day, I'm recycling them into new meals.
So I'm going to show you a compilation of frugal Slimming World recipes that you can try yourself!
Unofficial Cheap Slimming World Recipes Using Leftovers
Looking for some unofficial cheap Slimming World recipes? Well, here's a few healthy meal ideas to creatively use leftovers to cut down on waste and save money!
Make this leftover pasta frittata by topping it with your favourite pizza topping ingredients. I call it Slimming World pizza pasta!
These Slimming World cheese and onion muffins are perfect with a smidgen of butter like a scone, used as dumplings in a stew, or broken up and dipped into soup for low syn stodge! Made from mashed potatoes and oats!
Why not try these savoury Slimming World breakfast pancakes made from leftover blended soup?
Inundated with leftover Christmas turkey? Create a syn free Boxing Day soup with this zesty ginger and lemon turkey starter!
A healthy chicken pot pie with vegetables and a potato mash topping.
This any meat curry was inspired by my local Slimming World meeting, but here I use gammon.
Inspired by Angella Hartnett, this turkey, leek and potato pie is PERFECT using leftover turkey and mash!
Throw leftover ham or gammon in the slow cooker for this tasty Italian style soup, inspired by Two Greedy Italians!
You really have to try this homemade gnocchi recipe with leftover mash and blitzed oats. Each potato gnocchi dumpling is so soothing, then heated up in your favourite pasta sauce or green pesto.
If you have any stale bread, you can briefly run it under a tap, then top it with tomato puree and some cheese and pizza toppings. Then bake in the oven for 8 minutes, or make air fryer pizza toast for 4 minutes! It also works great with pita bread!
With today's food recycling recipes, I've also teamed up with Brabantia who have also embarked on a similar going-green mission.
They've brought out a brand new sustainable pedal bin range called newIcon where each sale will help rid of the Ocean's plastic.
I must admit, I don't think about plastic as much as I should, but as we aim for the coast at every opportunity, we do see a lot of washed-up non-degradable rubbish on the shores and always wonder how far it's travelled.

And Brabantia is also offering all of my lovely readers (yes, that's you), a chance to win one of these really stylish pedal bins INCLUDING a selection of tasty tools!
What I love about Brabantia's pedal bins is that each one sold supports The Ocean Cleanup to rid the world's oceans of plastic.
They're also sustainable, being made up of 40% recycled materials and when you're done with, it's also 98% recyclable too.
Now, depending on your colour scheme, there's so many vibrant colours to choose from.
I love the luxuriousness of our Mineral Reflective Blue 30L main bin that just pops in the corner of our room.
But I also have the 3L Metallic Mint which is a perfect kitchen top buddy to recycle any table scraps, coffee grounds and veggie peelings.

They're also soft closing and I'm also impressed that they don't let out any odours escape (oh, and the bin liner isn't visible while in use!).
So, if you want to enter for a chance to win, just scroll down to the bottom of the page.
But here's a compilation of yummy recipes to magically recycle some of your leftovers and help you stay healthy while saving money!

Some lovely recipe ideas using leftovers! I like the Newlcon style – the Daisy Yellow colour is so bright and sunny! I’m constantly trying to reduce the amount of plastic I buy/bin (plastic straws are banned in our house, and I try to avoid buying single use bottles as much as possible). Well done to Brabanta on supporting The Ocean Cleanup!
Maggie
