And what’s even better is it can be made in the pan, slow cooker and soup maker. I always make mine in the latter. The only problem is, once you start making your own, the store bought starts to taste dreadful.
Another one to add to your list of Slimming World Chicken recipes to try is this Syn Free Bhuna. It was actually one of the first recipes I shared on my blog many moons ago.
But I think it’s solid proof that an Indian curry doesn’t always need fats. It’s incredibly flavoursome with fresh ginger and herbs and really easy to make.

And I think it’s safe to say many of us are in the same boat with work and family life. So this Syn Free Slow Cooker Chicken & Orzo Risotto recipe has been a much loved favourite by my readers.
It just takes 5 minutes of prep and 3 hours cooking time, then stir in the uncooked orzo for a final 30 minutes. Then to give it a creamy texture, add a dollop or quark or some cheese triangles and serve!

It’s a super easy recipe for the slow cooker and the only syns in it are from the sausages you choose.
You’ll also need some chicken and plenty of herbs and spices such as Cajun seasoning. You can find it in most main stores. And it’s also in a secret Syn Free thick sauce!
Hunter’s Chicken is traditionally comes in a sweet BBQ sauce, topped with melted cheese. However, when it comes to Slimming World chicken recipes, I love it in this rich smoked paprika tomato sauce.
This recipes serves 4 people and can either be baked all in one dish, or individual portions. It’s up to you. Yet the latter makes it easier to ensure each person is getting their correct cheese allowance.
If you love chicken and ginger, you’re going to LOVE this Syn Free Chicken Noodle Soup. Again, as you’ll find with most of my soups, the majority are suitable in the pan, slow cooker and soup maker.
This is because not all recipes fit in the latter. So, I’ve taken time to adapt most to fit in all machines. But it’s packed full of speed foods, so no need to worry about getting a 3rd on your plate.
It’s all in here and it’s perfect for any season.
We all know that dried pastas are usually Syn Free. But what about store bought Gnocchi? Well, as they’re made up of egg, potato and flour, they’re not actually that high in syns.
And oh my God, do they taste like heavenly little dumplings?! So I whipped up this Low Syn Chicken and Tomato Gnocchi. However, if you’re prefer to make your own Syn Free Gnocchi from scratch, then you can!
But it’s worth noting that cooking gnocchi out of the bag only takes about 3 minutes in boiling water. I just wait until they float, scoop them out and place directly in to a sauce. Or sometimes raw straight in to a stew.
If you’ve never heard of KFC style chicken nuggets, then where have you been?! 🙂 And they’re actually pretty simple.
All you need to do is blitz some wholemeal bread as part of your Healthy Extra B. Then dunk bite size chicken chunks in to whisked eggs, followed by rolling in the breadcrumbs.
Then bake in the oven until golden. That’s all there is to it! Of course, it’s always more delicious adding herbs and spices to try aiming for a KFC taste. And you won’t be breaking the Syn bank!

They’re Syn Free and really warming with lots of spices. But also great alongside some sweet chilli sauce. I always buy the Healthy Boy brand which is low in syns.
